Happy Lenting

Happy Lent! Praying for a holy, happy, and productive Lent! I hope to get some favorite meatless recipes up here during the next 40 days. Being Lent, there are things that we for-go or do to engage our senses more on Christ and His Passion, Death and Resurrection. Often times we give up our favorite food/snack, TV show, internet, etc. Off to go get my Ashes! God bless you and your family.

If you can pause and remember my cousin (who had leukemia), she passed away yesterday. She leaves behind her husband and twin girls (almost 2years old). We are all saddened by her death but rejoice that she will rise again at Easter. I love you dear cousin!
