The Love Of The Skillet Part 1

I love the skillet meal. Not only is clean-up a snap, it is so easy and yummy to make too. Since spaghetti is a family favorite (where the boys enjoy it too), I love this recipe since it is SO easy.


Skillet Spaghetti

1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 T minced garlic
4-6 T water
1/2 t salt
1/2 t Italian Seasoning
1/2 t onion powder
3 oz uncooked spaghetti noodles, broken (I have used any type of pasta here)
Parmesan Cheese

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion with garlic until meat is no longer pink. Stir in tomatoes and seasonings. Add water and broken pasta. Boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes until pasta is tender, stir frequently. Add more water if necessary (so noodles don't stick to the bottom). Sprinkle with Parmesan.
