Comfort Food for BAP

Today at lunch I asked BAP what he would like for lunch. "Macky" (in other words, Mac-n-Cheese); it actually sounded good since it is kinda cold outside today. The boxed stuff is good when you need a meal fast and on the spot. However I thought I would make my own and see if he actually cared whether or not it was neon orange. He actually really enjoyed it and wanted more.
Macaroni and Cheese

2-3 T Butter (3T if you like the buttery taste)
2 T flour
2 cups milk
1/2 cup cubed cheddar
1/4 t garlic pepper
10 oz dry pasta (use your favorite shape)

Melt butter in saucepan (do NOT brown) over medium heat. When it begins bubbling, add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk and stir until thickened. Sprinkle in garlic pepper. Toss in the cubed cheese. Continue stirring over heat until melted.
While making the sauce, bring water to boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Put in a large bowl. Pour sauce over noodles. Stir until fully mixed.
